This is another note, from an honest person who seeks the truth.
Do you have enough faith to not to believe in God, or any religion that serves for it? Sam Harris, the author of The End of Faith quotes the following:
"We are no more free to believe whatever we want about God than we are free to adopt unjustified beliefs about science or history". Brilliant. I wonder if world is gonna be a better place for atheists in 2009. We shall see.
Has anyone seen the ads for watches that are made with the "original pieces from Titanic?"
The idea made me really sick. Firstly, who gets to decide that Titanic is their property to make a watch out of it? Besides, who would really want to carry those watches around their wrist? What are the features; a weak alarm sound as 1500 women, men and children begging for their life right before they freeze in the atlantic ocean? Great idea you people. That's what I call an efficient unrespectful way to make an unforgetable disaster last forever among us, for good.

I have been suffering from procrastination even before I knew what procrastination means. While I can't wait to publish my reflections on evolution of societies and read more books and do more experiments and start writing my thesis and do a job search, I would like to draw attention to this article that I saw at a supermarket isle this evening.
